We are excited to welcome CJPAC’s newest team member: Steven Greenwood!
Steven has come on board as Director of Development and will be working from our national office in Toronto. He brings with him extensive experience in fundraising, strategic planning, relationship building and community engagement, and we know he is going to be a fantastic addition.

Steven Greenwood was born in Toronto. He holds a BA (Psychology/Business) from Carleton University, a certificate in Adult Training and Development from Seneca College, and is currently enrolled in the Executive MBA program at Spertus Institute.
Steve is currently Director of Development at the Canadian Jewish Political Affairs Committee (CJPAC). He began his career in development, marketing and fundraising at the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Over a 10-year period, he served in?various?roles, including National Program Manager and Regional Director. As Regional Manager, he was responsible for overseeing a fundraising budget of more than $5 million and providing supervision for a staff team of over 40.
He has also held roles at various other organizations including Zareinu Educational Centre, Canadian Paraplegic Association, and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Canada.?At JDRF, as National Program Manager, Steven oversaw a $7 million engagement fundraising program involving over 20,000 participants from more than 350 companies including many prominent national corporations. Prior to joining CJPAC,?Steven served in the role of Director of Development for the Jewish Reform movement URJ Camp George.
Steven has served in numerous volunteer capacities including roles with Camp George, Montessori Jewish Day School (MJDS), and Multiple Sclerosis Society as well as being a member of the parent council at his children’s schools. He is currently the Head Coach of his son’s Select hockey team.
Steven has a passion for working with and educating youth. He has led many workshops in the topics of leadership development, team building, fundraising and volunteer engagement. He is currently the Youth Director at Temple Har Zion. Steven is married and is father to three children.
